Comedians Rauce Padgett and Joel Warren are bringing their sketch comedy show, 14 Sketches, to the Mount Dora Music Hall (Website) at the Community Building on Saturday, August 29. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for a happy hour social.
Padgett, a five-time Orlando Weekly Comedian of the Year winner, is known for his physical comedy and online content that’s drawn more than 50 million views. He’s opened for comedians including Jo Koy, Jim Jefferies and Demetri Martin, and is a regular voice on Real Radio 104.1, where he co-hosts the podcast “Good Sauce with Rauce and Joel.” Warren, his longtime creative and heterosexual life partner, brings his writing and stage presence skills to the duo’s fun collabs.
14 Sketches features a new lineup of original sketches built around the duo’s rapid-fire, character-driven style, with bits ranging from astronauts and pirates to cowboys and everyday scenarios that spiral out of control, albeit probably hilariously.
The show is recommended for mature audiences only. Because dick jokes. We’re guessing.
General seating tickets are $20 plus fees, and VIP seating is $40 plus fees.
