Pacchioni’s (Instagram | Website), a popular local cheesesteak food truck, will open its first brick-and-mortar restaurant in early December in College Park, taking over the Pizza Bruno space at 2429 Edgewater Drive [GMap].

The new restaurant, called Pacchioni’s Cheesesteaks & Pizza, will offer the truck’s globally inspired Philly cheesesteaks along with an all-new pizza menu. The release says additional details about the design, menu, and official opening date will be announced in the coming weeks.

Daniel Pacchioni launched the truck in February 2025. “Opening our first brick-and-mortar restaurant is a dream come true, and doing it in College Park makes it even more special,” he said in the release. “We lived just two streets away for five years, so this really feels like coming home.”

Pacchioni is joined by longtime friends and new business partners Yeosh Bendayan and Jon Ruhff, according to the release. It says the pair have built and operated businesses including Push Button Creative Audio (Website), which specializes in audio branding, and Southeast Chevy Parts (Website), which serves the classic Chevrolet restoration community.

Pizza Bruno owner Bruno Zacchini said in the release that he wanted to make sure the space went to the right people. “Daniel, Yeosh, Jon and team were a natural choice,” he said. “I love the team’s passion, creativity and vision for what they want to bring to the neighborhood.” Pacchioni said he is “especially honored to have Bruno’s blessing” and thanked him for his support and mentorship. He also hinted at “a few surprise collaborations in the near future.”

The truck’s menu was developed with Michelin-starred chef Mike Collantes. Offerings include:

  • The O.G., a classic Philly-style cheesesteak with Cheez Whiz, grilled onions, and provolone.
  • The K-Drama, with a Korean-inspired bulgogi glaze, kimchi, and sesame oil.
  • The Island Spice uses Jamaican jerk seasoning, curry aioli, and jalapeños.
  • The Truffle Trésor is a French-inspired version with truffle oil mix, mushrooms, Dijon mustard, Boursin cheese, fried shallots, onions, and provolone.
  • The El Dorado is a Colombian-inspired cheesesteak with egg, potato chips, and mayo-ketchup.
