In an era of digital downloads and subscription libraries, a shop on North Alafaya Trail in East Orlando is betting that people still want to hold the game they play.

Gamers Go Retro (Instagram | Website), the online arm of Gamers Inc Orlando, sells tested and cleaned retro and modern video games, consoles, and accessories from a storefront at 504 N. Alafaya Trail, Suite 111, in East Orlando. It carries more than 30 platforms, from Atari and Nintendo 64 to PlayStation 2, PS5, Xbox Series X, and 3DO. It also sells Amiibos, Skylanders, and collectibles like plush toys, blind boxes, model kits, and figures.

The store says it opened in 2010, started by two former Play N Trade employees who bought the remaining inventory and signed a lease on the same location. They launched the online store in 2025.

Its pitch is condition and trust. The store says each item is inspected, tested, and cleaned; broken consoles are repaired, and most items carry a 90-day warranty. Customers can sell or trade in old games and consoles, and the store offers console repairs.

Its mission is to preserve, play, and appreciate physical games. The store is open from noon to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday, and can be reached at 407-482-8655.
