Windermere Brewing Company (Facebook | Website) is turning four this weekend and celebrating with a glow party-themed anniversary event across Friday and Saturday at its taproom at 111 W. Fifth Avenue [GMap] in downtown Windermere.
The brewery was founded by co-owners Dr. Joe Ata and Andy McGhee, who broke ground on the seven-barrel brewhouse in April 2021 after years of home brewing and community events, and since then, have become a local hot spot in the lakeside town’s small downtown.
Friday kicks off their anniversary weekend with live music from Francesca Tarantino and the release of a special anniversary beer brewed just for the occasion. Saturday afternoon is reserved for Mug Club members, with a catered lunch and exclusive social from noon to 3 p.m. that includes a members-only special announcement. Saturday evening opens to the public with a live DJ set from Beatlife DJ Dustin Anderson from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., 80s-themed beer pong from 7 to 10 p.m., and a full glow party atmosphere with neon gear encouraged.
