The Mount Dora Area Chamber of Commerce (Website) is celebrating the return of its Mount Dora Taste event on Saturday, May 2, at Sunset Park in downtown Mount Dora. The 25th annual edition runs from 6:30 to 10 p.m., with VIP entry beginning at 6 p.m.
More than 20 local restaurants will be serving sample-sized bites across savory and sweet categories, with guests voting in People’s Choice Awards for Best Entrée, Appetizer, Dessert, Beer, and Cocktail. New this year is a Media Choice Award, with local media and influencers, including Orlando Shine, Channel 9, Good Day Orlando, Orlando Foodie Girl, and Lake & Sumter Style Magazine, judging the participating restaurants.
VIP tickets include early entry, exclusive samples, and access to a private air-conditioned lounge. Sunset Park is located at 341 Alexander Street [GMap] in downtown Mount Dora. The event runs rain or shine.
