Our “Neighborhood Watch” series features photos and tips provided by our readers. If you see something, say something, and send us an email at News@OrlandoShine.com so we can look into it and maybe even write a story like this one.
11/6 UPDATE: According to a recent report by Faiyaz Kara for Orlando Weekly, Armando’s owner, Armando Martorelli, will keep ownership of the space and open a new concept in its place called Vesuvio on November 12.
A message has been posted on the door of Armando’s College Park (Facebook | Instagram), sharing that the location is “closing its doors after 10 years, as of Monday, November 3rd.”
The message, which was not shared on the restaurant’s social media at the time of this post, also thanked the reader for their support and stated that both the Winter Park and Lake Nona locations will continue operating with normal business hours.
We’ve reached out to the restaurant for comment, but have not heard back at the time of this post. Comments shared on the Orlando Foodie Forum Facebook Group stated that the business had been sold to know owners, with a new menu and a “refresh” in the works.
