As first reported by Patricia Tolley for Orlando Business Journal, Tampa-based Fresh Kitchen is moving into the vacant Chicken Guy location at 818 S. Orlando Avenue [GMap], with plans to open before the end of 2026.
The company is investing hundreds of thousands of dollars to gut and redesign the space and exorcise the Guy Fieri ghosts and says the Winter Park location will feature an interior concept it hasn’t used at any of its other Orlando-area restaurants. Once open, it will be Fresh Kitchen’s fifth spot in the Orlando market.
The Chicken Guy! location closed last year following reported eviction filings tied to unpaid rent. “Money.”
No official opening date has been set.
