Orlando Fringe (Website) is bringing improv legend Colin Mochrie to The Plaza Live on Monday, April 6 at 7 p.m. for “Colin Mochrie & Friends: A Fab Fringe Fundraiser,” a one-night-only, fully unscripted performance benefiting Orlando Fringe.

Best known for his long run on Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Mochrie is also a veteran of the Canadian Fringe festival circuit, with sold-out runs at both Winnipeg Fringe and Edmonton Fringe, the largest theater festival in North America. He’ll be joined on stage by a local lineup of Orlando Fringe artists: Chase Padgett, Joel Warren, Emily Fontano, Robby Pigott, and DK Reinemer, with Ashley Evans on piano. Rob Ward will host.

Fringe artist and Orlando Fringe Board Member Chase Padgett first met Mochrie on the Fringe circuit in 2013 and says the two have shared stages multiple times since. “I was delighted to find he was just as kind as he is funny,” Padgett says. “That’s how this event came to be.”

Proceeds support Orlando Fringe’s mission to keep art accessible for both artists and audiences. General admission tickets start at $60. VIP tickets are also available and include early entry, priority seating, front-row access, and a pre-show experience beginning at 6:30 pm.. with light bites and guest performances.

Tickets are available HERE for purchase.
