Daytona Beach’s 34th annual Biketoberfest (Website) is returning October 15-18 for four days of motorcycle culture, live music, racing, and scenic riding in Volusia County.
The rally draws more than 100,000 riders and fans each year and has grown steadily since its launch in 1992 as the “Daytona Fall Tour,” a grassroots effort to boost tourism during Florida’s quieter fall season. It is considered one of the top motorcycle rallies in the nation and the official motorcycle event of Daytona Beach.
Attendees can expect live music, motorcycle racing at Daytona International Speedway, demo rides, bike shows, custom bike builds, and hundreds of the industry’s top vendors popping up throughout Daytona Beach. Scenic riding routes include A1A, historic Main Street, and the Ormond Beach Scenic Loop, a 23-mile stretch of sexy oak-draped curves and coastal beauty that has become one of the rally’s signature rides. There are spots to stop for ice cream too.
The official Biketoberfest mobile app returns with schedules, maps, and the popular MotoPassport Scavenger Hunt, which gives participants the chance to earn a collectible coin by checking in at designated rally locations through the app.
Among the most popular recurring events are:
- The beachside bike shows at the Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach and the Boardwalk Full Throttle Classic Bike Show, traditionally held on Friday, where one-of-a-kind custom bikes are displayed in an oceanfront setting.
- The Kegs & Eggs morning event (breakfast with live music from local bands) has also become a Biketoberfest tradition, along with free live performances at venues including the Peabody Ballroom and Ocean Center.
- Main Street transforms into a nonstop block party of bikes, vendors, and live music throughout the weekend.
Two new hotels are expected to open in time for the rally, including the Residence Inn by Marriott Ormond Beach and TownePlace Suites by Marriott Daytona Beach Oceanfront.
