Chuy’s Tex-Mex (Website) is closing its Winter Park location this summer and relocating to the former Bahama Breeze space at 1200 N. Alafaya Trail [GMap] in Waterford Lakes.
As first reported by Patricia Tolley for Orlando Business Journal, the move is part of Darden’s broader plan to convert its remaining 14 Bahama Breeze locations into other Darden concepts over the next 12 to 18 months. Darden acquired Chuy’s in 2024.
The vacated 6,587 SF store at 110 S. Orlando Avenue [GMap] in Lakeside Crossing, which Chuy’s has occupied since 2016, alongside Sixty Vines and Bulla Gastrobar, is already being marketed for lease by Colliers.
Chuy’s still has locations near the Orlando International Airport, International Drive, and in Kissimmee.
