White Castle opened its third freestanding Central Florida location on Tuesday at 5828 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway [GMap] in Kissimmee, and Orlando Shine photographer Dylan Duncan (Instagram | Website) was on the ground to check it out at an exclusive media event (only one other outlet showed up). Check out his video below.
The 3,430 SF Castle features 52 indoor seats, 40 outdoor seats, and two drive-through lanes, open daily from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. The opening drew hundreds of fans, or “Cravers,” in White Castle gear, along with White Castle CEO Lisa Ingram, a fourth-generation family member, and Osceola County Commissioner Peggy Choudhry.
The Kissimmee location brings 60 new jobs to Osceola County and is led by General Manager Veronica Serrano, who started with the company in 2021 and worked her way up to the role. White Castle also presented a $5,000 check to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida during the opening event.
The brand has plans for a groundbreaking in Daytona Beach on May 12, with a fifth Florida location planned for St. Augustine in the near future.
