Last night at Rogen’s Drinkery on Mills (Instagram | Website) was something we won’t forget for a long time.
To everyone who came out to celebrate eight months of Orlando Shine with us, thank you so much. Genuinely. Seeing so many familiar and new faces in that room, all showing up for this little news site we’ve been pouring ourselves into, meant everything.
A massive thank you to Just Call Moe Injury & Accident Attorneys (Website) for sponsoring the evening and making those two free drinks per person possible. Thank you to Moon Moonshine (Website) for the libations, and to the entire team at Rogen’s for working hard all night and being such gracious hosts. Local indie advocate, Frankie Messina (Instagram) kept the energy exactly right all evening, Simply Cheese (Website) made the most incredible charcuterie, and Amanda Claire Photo (Instagram | Website) captured all of it beautifully on film. And a special shoutout to Mike Donohue and Scottie Campbell for holding it down at the door all night.
Orlando Shine launched eight months ago with the simple goal of covering this city the way it deserves to be covered, from the heart. We’re still at it, we’re growing, and we’re not going anywhere. Thank you for being a part of the story.
