Ultimate Comics Oviedo (Website) is cracking open its vault for one weekend only, offering fans the chance to dig through thousands of comics, graphic novels, collectibles, and more at deep discounts. The three-day sale runs Friday through Sunday, October 24–26, in a 4,000 SF space directly across from the Ultimate Comics storefront inside the Oviedo Mall.
The event promises an old-school treasure hunt experience, featuring long boxes of comics, Funko Pops, loose action figures, and other memorabilia, some of which has never been offered for sale. According to the shop’s owner, these items come straight from A Comic Shop’s private warehouse, where several large collections have been sitting untouched for years.
Rather than sorting and pricing every individual issue, Ultimate Comics is letting fans do the exploring. Discounts will increase each day as inventory moves, making it a perfect opportunity for collectors to discover hidden gems and casual readers to stock up on affordable reads.
“Instead of paying employees to sort and mark up the keys, I’d rather just let comic fans hunt for treasures,” the owner explained. “It’s way more fun this way for everyone.”
The event will feature ongoing updates, with photos and videos posted daily to showcase some of the rare finds being uncovered from the warehouse stash. For local collectors and pop culture enthusiasts, it’s being billed as something close to comic book archaeology, a chance to dig through decades of stories, art, and nostalgia pulled straight from the vault.
