Ward Davis (Website), an Americana musician and songwriter known for his work with country icons Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, and Trace Adkins, will play The Social on Saturday, August 29. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the show is open to ages 12 and up and is presented by The Social and Foundation Presents.
Davis, who hails from Monticello, Arkansas, moved to Nashville and built his name as a songwriter for other country artists before launching his own solo career. His 2015 debut album, “15 Years in a 10-Year Town,” explored themes of love, loss, and redemption, and his 2020 follow-up, “Black Cats and Crows,” featured collaborations with Cody Jinks and other figures in the outlaw country and Americana scene.
