The Tony Award–winning musical Hadestown will come to the Dr. Phillips Center’s Walt Disney Theater for a limited run from November 28–30. The touring production brings Anaïs Mitchell’s retelling of the romantic and disastrous Orpheus and Eurydice love story to downtown Orlando, with a soundtrack of folk, jazz, and blues, set in an industrial underworld ruled by Hades.
The show originally opened on Broadway in 2019 and went on to win eight Tony Awards, including Best Musical, along with a Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album. It has a runtime of roughly two-and-a-half hours, so remember that before you hit the bar.
