Spirit Christmas (Website), the holiday retail sister concept to Spirit Halloween, will open its first Florida store in Winter Garden this October, marking the brand’s debut in the Central Florida market.
The store will be moving into the former Forever 21 space at Winter Garden Village, located at 3049 Daniels Road, Suite 220C, about 14 miles from Walt Disney World, according to Attractions Magazine.
Winter Garden is one of four Florida locations Spirit Christmas is opening this year, alongside stores planned for Clearwater, Coral Springs and Jacksonville, all set to open in early November. The stores will carry indoor and outdoor decorations, inflatables, ornaments, nutcrackers, holiday clothing, stocking stuffers and party supplies, along with merchandise tied to properties including Elf, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and SpongeBob SquarePants, and a darker “Creepmas” line blending Halloween and Christmas – because, of course.
New for this year’s stores is the Candy Cane Express, an almost life-size train and caboose display that guests can steer and interact with, along with a Santa’s Arrivals terminal where children can write letters to Santa.
Spirit Christmas launched in 2024 with a handful of Northeast locations and expanded to 30 stores across 13 states by 2025. The Florida openings are part of a broader push into Southern states this year, growing the chain to 15 states total.
The location is expected to open on October 15.
