Mariachi El Bronx (Instagram | Website), the mariachi project of Los Angeles punk band The Bronx, plays The Beacham (Website) in downtown Orlando on Tuesday, October 6.
The eight-piece band blends the regional Mexican music of its members’ Los Angeles upbringing like cumbia and bolero, with punk rock, with members playing everything from jaranas to violins. We hear their custom marianchi suits were made in Boyle Heights. Both Max Diaz and Bedouin Soundclash will be opening.
