There’s an immersive VR Titanic experience at Florida Mall now

A new Titanic-themed virtual reality attraction has arrived in Orlando, called Titanic: A Voyage Through Time (Website).

The new VR experience is now open at The Florida Mall, offering a 55-minute VR experience designed for guests ages 10 and older. It begins with a virtual dive more than two miles beneath the Atlantic Ocean to view the Titanic wreck as it appears today. Visitors are then transported back to 1912 to explore the ship before its sinking, including the Grand Staircase, first-class areas, and outdoor decks.

Participants can move freely within the VR space, interact with the environment, and encounter characters based on real passengers and crew. The production uses cinematic visuals, motion tracking, and room-scale sets to create a realistic, walk-through setting. But you can’t draw nude pictures of Whatsherface McDoorHogger or kiss Leonardo DiCaprio … because you’re too old for him now.

Tickets start at $20 and are available through Fever (linked above).
