Dr. Phillips Center is adding SPAMALOT, the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, to its 26/27 Broadway in Orlando season, with performances set for later this year, November 3-5, in the Walt Disney Theater.
SPAMALOT brings classic Monty Python’s comedic styling to the stage, telling a story of King Arthur’s quest for the Holy Grail filled with adventure and smooching. The production follows a celebrated 2023 Broadway revival at the St. James Theater, directed and choreographed by Josh Rhodes.
Adapted from the film Monty Python and the Holy Grail, the musical features flying cows, British royalty, dancing girls, and the Lady of the Lake. The 14-time Tony-nominated show includes songs such as “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life,” “The Song That Goes Like This” and “Find Your Grail.” SPAMALOT has book and lyrics by Eric Idle and music by John Du Prez and Eric Idle.
