The Orange County Library System is hosting its annual OCLS Writers Conference (Website) on Saturday, January 24, and Sunday, January 25. The day ends with an agent-focused hour, including a session on literary agents and the querying process and an “Ask the Agents” panel.
Sunday’s programming continues with sessions on character development, viewpoint, pace and structure, and publication strategy, including a workshop on choosing the right publication path.
The speaker list includes a mix of authors, editors, and agents, including Janice Hardy, Michael Mammay, Lorin Oberweger, and Caridad Piñeiro, along with literary agents and publishing professionals.
