Orange County Library System (Website) cardholders can now listen to the bestselling audiobook “Heated Rivalry” by Rachel Reid for free through the library’s digital catalog, providing a (discreet and immediate) alternative to the long waitlists for the physical edition, following the recent popularity of the new Canadian television adaptation.
According to the library’s catalog, the audiobook is available for immediate digital check-out through OCLS’s online system. With demand high, both the physical book and its print audiobook edition are currently on waitlists, and the title is also experiencing supply delays on major retail sites such as Amazon, where customers face extended shipping timelines.
Library cardholders can access the audiobook directly through the OCLS online catalog or through the library’s digital partners like Hoopla, offering streaming or downloadable listening on phones, tablets, and computers. Copies of the sequel, “The Long Game,” is also available on Libby and Hoopla.
