The Mount Dora Ice Cream Stroll is back on Sunday, April 12, from 3 to 5 p.m., in downtown Mount Dora with 25 participating businesses, 25 ice cream flavors from three local dessert providers, and the debut of a Pup Walk powered by local retailer, DogTuff (Website).
This year marks the first time the event has featured multiple ice cream partners. Mystic Ice Cream will bring a rotating lineup of all-natural flavors, including several booze-infused options like Kahlúa Fudge Brownie, Cherry Amaretto, and Coconut Rum.Scoops on 5th (Website), a downtown staple, is serving a mix of Hershey’s and homemade Sweet Alps flavors, including Ooey Gooey Butter Cake, Cookie Monster, and Biscoff. Waffles and Cream (Instagram) will offer Amaretto Cherry, Eskimo Kisses, Moose Tracks, and a pineapple Dole soft serve.
Dogs are welcome to join this year’s stroll, with participating businesses offering pet-friendly treats and fun touches throughout the route.
Attendees will need to check in at the Mount Dora Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center at 341 Alexander Street [GMap] to receive a Strolling Card, then visit participating businesses in any order during the two-hour window. The list of stops includes the Lakeside Inn, KKO Chocolates, Las Palmas Cuban Restaurant, The Salted Fry, and more than 20 others spread across downtown.
