The Mennello Museum of American Art (Website) is hosting “Pools in the Park with Pups” on August 3 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., and you’re all invited.
The free event will feature doggy pools for dipping, pet-friendly activities, special museum exhibits, and complimentary dog treats for those in attendance. The invite says to dress your dog in their finest pool attire and to bring a towel.
The event ties in with the current exhibition, Pool Party: The Pool in American Art, which looks at the role of the pool in mid-20th-century art, featuring the work of artists like Derrick Adams, Anastasia Samoylova, and Jay Lynn Gomez.
