Comedian Matt Mathews (Instagram | TikTok) is coming to the Walt Disney Theater at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts (Website) on Friday, May 1, for two shows: 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
Mathews is a former boudoir photographer from Birmingham, Alabama. He went viral during the pandemic with a series of farm chore videos and built a following of more than 12 million fans and over a billion views across social media before ever setting foot on a comedy stage. He performed his first stand-up set in 2022 and was headlining national tours within months.
His Boujee On A Budget Tour has now sold more than 150,000 tickets, with stops at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and his first-ever arena show in his hometown. The Orlando dates are part of a 2026 extension of the tour that also includes Boston, Washington D.C., and Los Angeles. His material draws from life growing up gay in the South, farm life, and whatever else crosses his mind.
Tickets are available HERE for purchase and there’s a VIP package available for $242.16, which includes a meet-and-greet experience.
