As first reported by Tasty Chomps, Little Saigon (Website), one of the longest-running Vietnamese restaurants in Orlando’s Mills 50 District, will close on December 28, as its owners prepare to retire.
The restaurant first opened in 1987 in a small 1,000 SF storefront and gradually expanded through four renovations, remaining a family-run operation throughout its nearly four decades. Siblings Vu Nguyen and Mai Huynh, who have managed the restaurant since the late 80s, said the decision comes after deep consideration and a desire to step back following the deaths of their parents, who originally ran the kitchen.
Little Saigon is located at 1106 E. Colonial Drive [GMap] next to Mills Market.
