
United Arts of Central Florida (Website) is hiring a Music Program Operations Coordinator to support live music programming across its Creative Placemaking initiatives. The role is a limited-term position running from January through May of this year, scheduled for 30 hours per week, with pay listed at $24 to $27 per hour.
The role focuses on the operational side of booking and keeping shows running smoothly, and responsibilities include booking and scheduling performers through Gigwell, onboarding new artists, collecting promotional materials (bios, headshots, links), supporting promo setup to meet City and United Arts requirements, maintaining operations documentation, handling artist communications, and providing attendance and booking data for reporting and finance. The position also supports day-of operations and troubleshooting, with escalation procedures for artist, partner, and safety concerns.
Applicants should have two to three years of experience in scheduling, event coordination, or administrative support (preferred). Familiarity with the Central Florida music community is a plus. A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and availability for a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends are required.
