Mike Posner (Website) is coming to The Vanguard (Website) on Friday, July 3, with doors opening at 10 p.m. The show runs until the wee hour of 2:30 a.m. at 578 N. Orange Avenue [GMap] in downtown Orlando. The event is 18 and over.
Posner is a Detroit-born singer, rapper, songwriter, and record producer who began his career releasing mixtapes from his Duke University dorm room before signing with J Records in 2009. His breakthrough single “Cooler Than Me” (video below) achieved septuple platinum certification, while the 2016 remix of “I Took a Pill in Ibiza” topped charts in multiple countries and earned him a Grammy nomination for Song of the Year. He’s also written and produced songs for Justin Bieber, Maroon 5, Big Sean, Nick Jonas, and more.
