A new mural is going up on the west-facing wall of Jimmy Hula’s at 2522 Aloma Avenue [GMap] in Winter Park this weekend.
“Schiani is doing a badass mural at the WP location this weekend,” said Zac Hartman, owner of Jimmy Hula’s.
Orlando-based artist and designer Schiani Ledo (Instagram) was commissioned to paint a large-scale piece inspired by the 1991 surf thriller “Point Break,” and specifically draws from the film’s skydiving scene featuring Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze. The mural is expected to be complete by Sunday.
