The Jane Austen Fest (Facebook | Website) will return to Mount Dora for a three-day festival from February 13 to 15. Organizers describe the event as “a foot in the 21st Century and a toe in the Regency Era,” with a day full of lectures, workshops, teas, and costumed social events.
Festival programming is spread across multiple locations in Mount Dora, with registration centered at Annie Donnelly Park. The Friday lineup includes a Regency fashion show, followed by a soirée and a promenade to a dulcimer concert.
Saturday is positioned as the busiest day, with an all-day Regency marketplace, an assembly room gathering space, multiple workshops, and four-course tea sittings at the Donnelly House, plus an evening Regency Ball.
Sunday’s schedule leans into daytime programming like a morning marketplace, “tea and crumpets,” a Dora Canal cruise, a Regency picnic at Gilbert Park, and a guided tour of the Lake Dora boardwalk. Organizers note that the schedule is subject to change.
