Harry P. Leu Gardens is screening ‘Labyrinth’ outdoors on June 5

Harry P. Leu Gardens (Website) is hosting an outdoor movie night on Friday, June 5, with a screening of the 1986 cult classic Labyrinth. The movie starts at 8:30 p.m. and runs until about 10:25 p.m.

The film tells the story of Sarah Williams, played by a young Jennifer Connelly and her eyebrows, who wishes away her baby brother into the clutches of a glittery goblin king who should have been named Glamdalf in the tightest pants in cinema history. She instantly regrets it, and then she has to solve a magic maze to get him back. It’s amazing.

The gardens open at 7 p.m., and Leu recommends arriving at least 30 minutes before showtime, given the walk to the screening area. Bring a blanket or chairs and a picnic if you’d like. Space is limited and first-come, first-served. Consider biking if you’re able.

Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for children, and free for kids under 4, active military, and Leu members. Tickets are available HERE for purchase.
