"TWILIGHT COVE" BY DAVID BRADSTREET VIA CREALDE SCHOOL OF ART
Crealdé School of Art (Website) will present its 45th Annual Juried Student Exhibition featuring more than 100 student works across ceramics, sculpture, painting, drawing, and photography programs. The exhibition opens with a reception on Friday, June 5, from 7 to 9 p.m. and runs through July 26. Galleries are free and open to the public.
Program managers in each department selected the works on display. Once installed, a guest juror will award first, second, and third place in each category. For the first time, the exhibition will also include an overall Best in Show award.
Flynn Dobbs, Public Art Coordinator for the City of Orlando, will serve as guest juror. Dobbs holds a BA in Art History and Criticism with a minor in Museum Studies from Florida State University and sits on the Orange County Public Art Review Board.
The Annual Juried Student Exhibition is Crealdé’s longest-running exhibition, beginning five years after the school’s founding in 1975.
“Crealdé’s Juried Student Exhibition is a powerful reflection of the creativity, discipline, and growth of our students,” said Emily Bourmas-Fry, Executive Director and CEO. “It celebrates their artistic achievements while also reinforcing the importance of accessible arts education in building a vibrant and connected community.”
Crealdé School of Art is a nonprofit visual arts organization with campuses in Winter Park and the historic Hannibal Square neighborhood. The school offers year-round classes, exhibitions, outreach programs, and family-friendly events.
