Black Bean Deli (Website) first publicly shared its intent to open a third Orlando-area location in Winter Garden in early 2024. At the time, owner Andrés Cortón confirmed that the new restaurant would be located at 126 W. Plant Street [GMap], in the space formerly occupied by NY Bagel Deli & Pizza.
Cortón took to social media earlier today to share that the project is still in the works, but that due to the challenges involved in preserving the historic building in which the restaurant will be located, it is taking more time than they had expected.
He also shared that while they do not have an opening date at the moment, they are committed to following through wth the project. You can read the full statement below via the Black Bean Deli Instagram page.
