The new president of Bethune-Cookman University (Website) is on a “Listening and Learning” tour and will be stopping at the Heart of West Lakes Wellness Center on Thursday, August 21, at 6:30 p.m. to hear from local Wildcats and share his vision for the university.
Dr. Albert Mosley is a first-generation college graduate from Shuqualak, Mississippi, whose three decades of leadership in higher education and the nonprofit sector include a decade as a sitting university president.
Most recently serving as president of Morningside University in Iowa, Dr. Mosley launched innovative programs in aviation, cybersecurity, AI, supply chain management, and animal science, while securing record-breaking philanthropic support, and is a proud alumnus of Millsaps College, Duke University, and Yale University, with a doctorate from the University of Georgia. He officially began his presidency at Bethune-Cookman on July 7, 2025.
The Heart of West Lakes Wellness Center is located at 710 S. Tampa Avenue [GMap] in the West Lakes District. The event is free, but you need to RSVP HERE before just showing up.
