Born in North Carolina and known for her blue hair and genre-fusing alt-pop, Ashnikko (Website) first broke through with viral hits “Stupid” and feminist anthem “Daisy.” She was raised partly in Estonia and Latvia before establishing herself as one of the more distinctive voices in alt-pop.
Her second album Smoochies, following 2023’s debut WEEDKILLER, is her most autobiographical work to date, and features a 15-track project described as “rebellious” and “made from a place of radical joy.” The Smoochies Tour is a massive global run spanning North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
