Real Radio 104.1 (Website) hosted its annual Texas Hold’em Charity Poker Tournament this past weekend and raised a record-breaking $42,870, benefiting The Mustard Seed of Central Florida (Website).
The tournament, presented by JustCallMoe (Website), was held Saturday at the Orlando Science Center from 6 to 10 p.m., with proceeds supporting Central Florida’s only furniture and clothing bank.
A mononymous Marlene (we don’t know her last name) took home the win at this year’s tournament. The Solar Source Final Table featured local radio personalities including Jana from XL1067 and Magic1077, and Mel Taylor from 101.1 WJRR. I got knocked out on the eighth-last table, which isn’t too shabby.
Attendees enjoyed food from Hard Rock Café Orlando, complimentary Stella Artois courtesy of Mills Air, and pop-up casino games throughout the evening.
