L’Eclair (Instagram) will perform at Will’s Pub (Website) on Thursday, July 30. Charlie Chimi and Quick Band, made up of members of Fast Preacher, will open. Doors open at 6 p.m., with the show starting at 8 p.m.
L’Eclair is a “cosmic instrumental group” from Geneva, Switzerland, that formed in 2015 after keyboardist Sebastien Bui and guitarist Stefan Lilov recorded demos together while studying in London. The band is now centered around brothers Yavor and Stefan Lilov, who were born in Bulgaria and raised in Geneva.
The band blends funk, psychedelic disco, prog, and electronic influences into an instrumental sound built for dancing. L’Eclair has also backed the Zambian psych rock band W.I.T.C.H. on recent tours.
