Pizza Bruno (Website) has closed its location at Maitland Social, according to a message from owner Bruno Zacchini shared on the restaurant’s Facebook page.
Zacchini said the decision came after “a lot of honest reflection” to focus the business on its two original locations, on Curry Ford Road and in College Park on Edgewater Drive. The Maitland Social location had been open for two years.
“Two years ago we came here with big energy and genuine love for this neighborhood,” Zacchini wrote. “But great restaurants require great focus, and after a lot of honest reflection, we’ve made the decision to put everything we have back into the places that started it all.”
Zacchini thanked the Maitland community for supporting the location’s pizza, night markets, and kids’ pizza classes, and invited customers to visit the Curry Ford Road or College Park locations.
“This wasn’t an easy call,” Zacchini wrote. “But it’s the right one.”
