Pinstripes Holdings Inc., the “eatertainment” chain known for combining Italian-American dining with bowling, bocce, and event space, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The company cited steeply rising costs, shifting consumer behavior, and over-expansion as primary contributors to its financial distress.

At its height, Pinstripes (Website) ran 18 venues across multiple states, but as of the bankruptcy filing, only eight locations remain open. Ten of its locations, including the Orlando Vineland Pointe location, at 11643 Daryl Carter Parkway [GMap], which had only opened in April 2024, were shuttered as part of the restructuring.

According to filings, a big part of the trouble has been inflationary pressures: food, labor, rent, and other operating costs have climbed, while customers have become more cost-conscious and reduced discretionary spending on dining out and entertainment.

Pinstripes is continuing to operate its remaining eight venues at least through the Chapter 11 process, while navigating the reorganization. The hope is to preserve as much value as possible, keeping open profitable locations, maintaining events and deposits where feasible, and mitigating the fallout for employees and customers.
