International Drive is set to add a new attraction in 2026: a “slotharium” featuring live sloths in a dedicated indoor habitat.
Sloth World (Website), announced this week, will allow visitors to observe sloths up close in controlled environments designed to mimic their natural conditions. Similar attractions in Florida, including those at Wild Florida and the Orlando Science Center, have shown strong demand for sloth encounters and educational programs.
Sloth World is expected to open in February 26 in a former gift shop near 6582 International Drive [GMap] with over 40 resident sloths. Tickets are already on presale and are going for $29, HERE.
Side Note: Did you know you can legally own a sloth in Florida? You just need a no-cost Class III Wildlife Permit from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. But just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.
