Flutes Champagne Bar (Website) in Winter Park says it is rebranding as 480N Wine Bar (Instagram), and shifting away from being a champagne-focused bar and leaning more into a “wine lounge and nightlife concept.” In a statement announcing the change, the owners said the new name is inspired by the roughly 480-kilometer route between Paris and the Champagne region, which they describe as a “symbolic connection between champagne tradition and Paris nightlife.”
The rebrand comes with a new “Paris Nights” theme built around wine-based cocktails, rotating DJs, and monthly live shows. Planned entertainment includes events like dueling pianos, dueling saxophones, and performances by local vocalists. Flutes’ look will also change, and focus on black-and-white Parisian nightlife photography, featuring nightclub, dance, and fashion-forward imagery.
The owners also stated that pricing will become more approachable, citing the rising cost of champagne and imports (hello, tariffs), and noting that the champagne-bar model has become more challenging. They noted that the venue’s top-selling drinks have consistently been its wine-based cocktails, and said the rebrand is largely about leaning into what customers already order most.
Look for those changes to take effect in the coming weeks.
