The Orange County Medical Examiner has released the autopsy report for David Williams, the YouTube creator known as Adam the Woo (YouTube), concluding that his death was the result of natural causes, according to official findings.
The report, completed by the Office of the Medical Examiner for District Nine, lists the cause of death as “atherosclerotic and hypertensive cardiovascular disease,” with obesity noted as a contributing condition. The manner of death was ruled natural. Williams was 51 years old and was found unresponsive in bed at his home on December 22, 2025.
The autopsy documented significant underlying heart disease, including 75% narrowing of the right coronary artery, 80% narrowing of the left anterior descending coronary artery, and 20% narrowing of the left circumflex artery. The report also noted cardiomegaly, or an enlarged heart, with four-chamber dilation, as well as moderate atherosclerosis in the aorta and cerebral vessels.
Medical examiners also identified pulmonary congestion and edema, nephrosclerosis, and Class I obesity, with a recorded body mass index of 34.4. Toxicology testing was described as noncontributory, with no findings that altered the determination of cause or manner of death.
The report states there was no reported past medical history available to investigators at the time of examination. A minor abrasion on the right lower leg was documented as blunt force trauma of an extremity but was not considered related to the cause of death.
With the autopsy now finalized, the case has been formally closed as a death from natural causes.
