South Carolina singer-songwriter Marcus King (Website) will perform at Apopka Amphitheater on Saturday, May 30.
King released his latest album, “Darling Blue,” in September 2024 on American Records/Republic Records, and it marks a reunion with his live band for the first time since the Marcus King Band’s 2018 release “Carolina Confessions.”
“Darling Blue” was recorded at the Capricorn Studios with GRAMMY-winning producer and engineer Eddie Spear. The album features collaborations with Billy Strings, Jesse Welles, Noah Cyrus, and Kaitlin Butts, with co-writes from Midland and Lainey Wilson. King made his solo debut with the GRAMMY-nominated “El Dorado” in 2020, followed by “Young Blood” in 2022 and “Mood Swings” in 2024.
Last year, King toured with Chris Stapleton, Cody Johnson, Eric Church, and Dwight Yoakam. This spring, he’s touring internationally and playing festivals including Stagecoach, Bourbon & Beyond, and Gulf Coast Jam as part of the Darling Blue Pt. 2 Tour and Waltz Across Texas Tour.
