Earls Kitchen + Bar (Website) has closed its Orlando location at The Mall at Millenia, ending nearly 10 years in the market, according to reporting from the Orlando Business Journal last week. According to the report, the closure marks the Canadian chain’s full exit from the Orlando market, but they’ll continue to operate three Florida locations in Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
The closure is the second full-service restaurant exit at the luxury mall this year. Brio Italian Grille closed its longtime location at the mall in February after its lease expired, as parent company Bravo Brio Restaurant Group worked through Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings. Brio had operated at the mall for more than two decades.
Earls Kitchen + Bar opened at The Mall at Millenia on the property’s second level, offering a modern American menu with globally inspired dishes, USDA Prime steaks, and a cocktail and wine program built around the brand’s casually upscale format.
No word yet on what will replace either space at the mall.
