Kyle’s Bike Shop (Website), located in Orlando’s Milk District, is celebrating its 20th anniversary with an all-day celebration on Saturday, September 26, from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
The day kicks off with a casual group ride departing the shop at 203 N. Primrose Drive [GMap] at 8 a.m., cruising for about an hour along the Orlando Urban Trail and downtown loop. Riders are encouraged to check out new coffee and pastries from the neighboring Bad Ass Sandwich before and after the ride.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the shop will host a sale with 20% off all in-stock bicycle accessories, excluding items already on sale, parts, and repairs. Then the program shifts into a party starting at 6 p.m., featuring a reunion performance from local acts Sour Grapes and Butter, along with additional musicians throughout the evening. The party includes light snacks, drinks, and live music, with neighboring restaurants staying open a bit later for hungry party-goers.
Kyle’s Bike Shop opened in September 2006 and has been voted one of Orlando’s best bike shops multiple times by both Orlando Weekly and Orlando Magazine. The shop also received the National Bicycle Dealers Association’s 2022 Excellence in Bicycle Retailing Award.
