The local horror fans at Horror-lando Film Club (Instagram), which we wrote about back in December, is hosting their first meetup of 2026 on Tuesday, January 20, at Bookburn Cafe (formerly known as Whippoorwill Beer House) in The Milk District.
The event will feature a free screening of Scream 4 at 7:30 p.m., preceded by a pre-movie hangout session with board games and casual conversation. The screening will start at 8 p.m. sharp.
Horror-lando launched in July 2025 with a screening of The Lost Boys (1987). Since then, the club has continued to grow its audience through free monthly screenings of cult classics, slashers, and seasonal horror films. Previous titles have included Evil Dead II, Trick ‘r Treat, Freddy vs. Jason, and Thanksgiving (2023). Screenings feature giveaways, themed gatherings, and opportunities to meet fellow genre fans in a casual setting.
Seating is first-come, first-served.
