Florida Citrus Sports (Website) is rolling out a series of limited-edition food and drink collaborations with local breweries, restaurants, and coffee shops to mark the 80th anniversary of the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl on New Year’s Eve, in a series of partnerships that extend beyond the stadium.
Each partnering business has created a custom, Citrus Bowl-inspired menu item, and a portion of every purchase will support Lift Orlando (Website) and its ongoing investment work in the Communities of West Lakes, located around Camping World Stadium.
Partners currently include Ivanhoe Park Brewing, Black Phin, Framework Coffeehouse, Gnarly Barley, Phat Ash Bakes, The Neighbors, Pizza Bruno, and Pizzeria Valdiano.
To celebrate, on Monday, December 8, Lamp & Shade (Website) in Mills 50 will host a Cheez-It Citrus Bowl Cocktail Competition featuring a bracket-style showdown between Orlando bartenders. Competitors will build Citrus Bowl-themed drinks using spirits from featured partners Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Don Q Rum, with the winning creations earning placement during bowl week festivities.
