Comedian, actor, and adorable human Pokémon Johnny Pemberton (Website) plays West End Trading (Website) in Sanford on Saturday, September 26, with doors at 6 p.m. and the show starting at 6:30 p.m.
Pemberton is best known for playing Bo on NBC’s “Superstore” and currently portrays the radioactive mutant/thirst trap Thaddeus on Amazon Prime’s “Fallout.” His film credits include “21 Jump Street,” “22 Jump Street,” “Neighbors 2,” “Ant-Man,” and Armando Iannucci’s Oscar-nominated “In the Loop.” He also played Max on FX’s “You’re the Worst” and starred in the title role of Fox’s “Son of Zorn.”
Pemberton tours nationally as a stand-up comedian, with past sets at Just for Laughs in Montreal, the Moontower Comedy Festival in Austin, and SXSW. He’s also a voice actor on shows like “Bob’s Burgers,” “Adventure Time,” and Netflix’s “The Midnight Gospel,” where he also served as a contributing writer, and hosts the podcast “LIVE to TAPE with Johnny Pemberton,” with more than 300 episodes recorded.
