Puerto Rican restaurant chain El Cilantrillo (Website) has announced that it will open its fifth location this fall at Rio Pinar Plaza in East Orlando, making it the seventh restaurant in the Orlando-based Turull Brands arsenal.
The new location will serve El Cilantrillo staples like the El Afrentao (a gigantic feast of beef, chicken, seafood, rice, and plantains), El Esmayao (a shareable appetizer platter packed with Puerto Rican street food classics), and El Parrandón (a year-round holiday meal with traditional Christmas flavors including lechon and pasteles) in its new 4,470 SF home at 431 S. Chickasaw Trail [GMap].
El Cilantrillo has four other locations that include two in Orlando, at 2500 S Semoran Blvd. and 1303 Florida Mall Ave., and two in Kissimmee at 3628 W. Vine St. and 5770 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy. The company also owns Nona’s Urban Pizza, a Latin-style pizza shop in the Lake Nona area, and Turull’s Kitchen and Bar, a fusion of Latin and Spanish-style tapas concept near the Florida Mall.
