Dr. Phillips Charities (Website) is accepting applications for its Legacy Microgrant Program through August 7, with fifteen $5,000 grants available to eligible nonprofits serving Orange and Osceola counties.

The grants are open to organizations with annual operating budgets of $2 million or less working in arts and culture, children and youth, education, health, and social services. Priority goes to projects that reduce economic pressures on ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) and low-income families while creating lasting community impact.

Since launching, the program has awarded 30 microgrants totaling $150,000 to local nonprofits. A previous grant enabled the Mental Health Association of Central Florida to upgrade technology for its Connections Referral Program, improving access to mental health services for uninsured Central Floridians.

Grant recipients will be recognized at the annual Dr. Phillips Charities Impact Awards in October.

Applications are open through August 7, HERE.
