Cupid’s Undie Run returns to downtown Orlando on Saturday, February 21, from noon to 4 p.m., raising funds for neurofibromatosis research. The event starts at Elixir Kitchen and Bar (Website) at 9 W. Washington Street [GMap] with the party kicking off at noon, followed by a one-mile run at 1:30 p.m., and more partying after. Runners are encouraged to wear underwear, costumes, or whatever they happen to find on the floor of their apartments (it’s usually the latter).
Registration is $45 per person. Runners can participate solo, create a team, or join an existing team. All proceeds benefit the Children’s Tumor Foundation, which funds research for NF, a group of genetic conditions that cause tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body. Since 2010, Cupid’s Undie Run has raised more than $25.7 million nationally to fight NF and t he event takes place in cities across the United States each February.
Participants must be 21 and over. Click HERE for more information or to register.
